The environment of our school is urban; you can find us in the middle of the town. We are surrounded by stores, a hospital, other schools and a large nearby park. This location can help us to show to our students the two faces of a town; the commercial area and the recreational and natural area. The socio-economic status of the families are good, they have a medium-high economic level (exurban).
In our school we have two levels: nursery and primary school. The students are organizing alphabetically.
On the one hand, in nursery school we have three curses: three years, four years and five years. Each level has two classes and twenty students. On the other hand, we split primary school on Infant school with three classes of twenty five children, and Junior school with three classes of twenty five children.
The staff of the school is composed of: the principal and the assistant principal; the teachers (tutors and specialist of music, plastic, arts, sports); two counsellors responsible of help the students with their school, family, social and emotional problems; two pedagogues responsible for preventing and spotting any problem in the comprehensive development of the children.
The school also has a sign language interpreter and a wheelchair assistant to help those students that need it. In addition, we have a school cleaning service.
The time organisation depends of the principal, and the teachers of each class. In September, all the school have a meeting where the general schedule is decided and the specific timetable of each class is collected in the programming course.
Regarding the school spaces; we have fifteen ordinal classes, separate toilets, and the classes of: music, arts, laboratory, gym... a canteen, two playgrounds, an orchard, the offices, a boardroom and an assembly hall.

3)   GAME

“To take the ball”

The idea is to talk about likes and interests. All the class is arranged in a circle and we need a soft ball. The game has got two steps.
- In the first step the teacher offers the example: “Hello, my name is Sara and I like pizza”.
    - There is a second turn, and the teacher offers the new pattern: “Hello, I’m Sara and I love tennis”.
Thanks to this game, the teacher easily knows the names of the students, and all the students participate, and they meet to each other.
Variation:
Students may also say, your favourite colour, their hobbies, they like to do in your free time.

4)   ASSESSMENT

·       LEVEL OF CHILDREN: We know the level of the students by the letter that we sent to the parents.

·       INTEREST: The game tell us the children’s interests, like the colour, hobbies, food, sport and other things they like.

·       These two points we need adapt lessons to children.

·       SOCIO-ECONOMIC: We know this point, with the environment and the information received with the letter.

·       ENVIRONMENT: We want to know the environment with the letter and the game, because the students can live in the city or in the village.

·       ETHNIC: We know the ethnic by letter, game and profile school, because the different children are the diverse places.
